Thanks for visiting the Lamper-Lynn Great North Run page.
We've joined together to raise money for two charities, Cancer Research UK and the Alzheimer's Society, as these are causes close to our hearts for family reasons.
We are training hard and would be really pleased if you could support us with a donation. The key things to remember are that Jenni started running only a year ago, and has legs (and steering) like a giraffe, and Sara is getting on in years and has very short legs! We will need your support to stand any chance of crossing the finish line.
Sara is running in memory of her parents, grandparents and Uncle Frank and also her gorgeous goddaughter's late dad, Alan Davenport, who wanted to do the GNR himself but never got the chance.
There are separate buttons below for the two charities (because of the way JustGiving works) but ideally we would like to raise similar for both! However, click on whichever you like and we will be massively grateful.
The photo on the left shows us after completing a very hot 10k on June 26 - imagine how bad we're going to look after 21k!
