For the last 2 years Mind TWS has joined forces with another local charity Headway Somerset to raise money for our respective causes, which often overlap. 16 paddlers and a drummer have taken to the River Tone to do battle with other local contenders. We have come 6th and 7th the last two years so are aiming for a top 3 finish in our third year. Only narrowly being beaten by teams from the local commando squad, Virgin Gyms, and the fire service. If you can help us reach our team target by supporting one of our paddlers or the whole team it would go along way to supporting our work in the community of Somerset.
Mind TWS' objectives are to promote good mental health, to encourage greater understanding of mental health issues, to provide high quality support and to enable genuine service user/survivor involvement and consultation in the development of all mental health services.
