We at Bennett's Mechanical Services are doing a head shave to help us raise money to fight cancer.
According to Cancer Research UK, 1 in 2 people born after 1960 in the UK will be diagnosed with some form of Cancer during their lifetime. Every family will be touched, some more so than others. The very word is emotive but living with the diagnosis and treatment is, at the very best, a roller coaster of emotions.
We oursleves have been touched, particularly since hearing the news that people close to us at the Pineapple Business Park near Bridport, have been recently diagnosed.
With the aid of donations, there is new Cancer Care Centre being built at Dorset County Hospital. This, when completed, will aid the dedicated team in delivering an even better service and with the fight being taken to Cancer by the ground-breaking research of Cancer UK, it is vital their research is well funded.
