Happiness is not something ready made.
It comes from your own actions.

In April, 2012 I will be running the London Marathon in partnership with B.A.A. Communities trust, with the pursuit of raising money to help better the goal of creating a happier society.
Each Week:
+ 108 People in the UK will take their own lives
+ 1,972 adults will be admitted to mental health hospitals in England, resulting in about 5.4 million beds per year.
Each Year:
+ The cost of mental health problems in England is estimated at £105 billion.
+ 1 in 4 of us will experience mental distress.
+ 42.78 million prescriptions are issued for antidispressents in 2010 alone.
In our lives:
+ Depression will be the second leading cause of disability worldwide by 2020.
The money raised will be donated to charities Mind, and Action for happiness. My hope is to raise public awareness that by making a happier society, people are given the opportunity to flourish.
