Together this group of gorgeous girls makes up 'Sole Sisters'.... Our team name for the 10K Royal Marine Commando Challenge on 8th October 2011.
We will be running 3K before we embark on the disgustingly filthy, muddy 4K obstacle course and then completing another 3K to finish. Not so tricky I hear you say... but for the majority of us 'exercise sensitive soles', the distance is a challenge in itself never mind the trawling through tunnels and clambering over fences before squelching (I mean running) victoriously to the finish line.
We are raising money for 'The Devon Air Ambulance' whose ability to reach the most remote locations in just 15minutes saves lives, and also 'C Group', the charity which supports the on-going rehabilitation and re-intergration of injured Royal Marines.
