'By supporting the Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund, you’ll be funding the very best researchers at UK universities in their vital research projects into this highly aggressive and highly lethal cancer. To date PCRF has funded 27 cutting edge research projects worth some £4M – and every penny of this money was from PCRF supporters.
The charity is focused on funding the development of new treatments for pancreatic cancer and a way of diagnosing the disease in its early stages. This will give people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer a better chance of surviving – at the moment only three out of every 100 patients will live beyond 5 years.
