Hi my name is Ashlea and I am doing a sponsored 5 mile swim to raise money for Scarlett's wish2walk.
Scarlett is 8 years old and suffers from cerebral palsy. She was born 2 months early with an undetected major heart condition called transposition of the great arteries. She was put straight onto life support machine at birth and finally underwent open heart surgery at 2weeks old. Because of all the complications she had at birth her brain was starved of oxygen which means she now has cerebral Palsy, and has to use a walking frame and wheelchair to get around.
I want to help Scarlett to live her dream and raise this money so that she can go to America and have this operation that will enable her to be able to walk one day unaided.
