This will be my 8th marathon. It'll be my first one outside the UK.
Training so far has been a mixture of feeling great and feeling bad. Usually the bad feeling has been as a result of bad training sessions, or missed training sessions. The better feelings come alongside stronger runs.
Been really lucky this time round with injuries. Only a couple of lay-offs, around a stiff/uncomfortable achilles and ankle.
So with a month to go, it's time to think about reasons to celebrate human endurance.
Not mine. Not the other 40000 Berlin entrants.
Brooke has Spastic Cerebral Palsy. Wheelchair bound, she'd love to walk, but needs a series of major operations to achieve that dream. So if you like the idea of donating, here's a link toBrooke's Justgiving page.

Tomorrow, I'll be running a 22 mile training run. This will give me a confidence check on my strength, and a good indication of what sort of time I'll be able to complete the Berlin Marathon in. So I'm off to eat some Pasta......
