Bob’s Three Peaks Tandem Challenge

Team photo

I’d like to celebrate being the Chair of both Deafblind Scotland and Deafblind UK by becoming the first deafblind person to climb the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales and cycle the 500 miles in-between.

I want to raise awareness of the growing incidence of deafblindness in the UK with over 400,000 people now struggling with isolation and the everyday challenges of normal life. and let people know that whilst dual sensory loss is so isolating for so many, it doesn’t have to be.  With the right support deafblind people can lead full and active lives and still fulfil their dreams. I hope that by completing this challenge, I can inspire others to seek help and support from DBUK and DbS if they need it and achieve their own ambitions whatever they may be.

Please support me by donating to either of the 2 sister charities who do such great work in supporting and enabling deafblind people throughout England, Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland.

Thank you.
