Hi my name is Charlie Rees and I have tongue cancer.
I have set up this page to raise awareness for, Heads Up charity, part of the Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals
Alarmingly mouth cancer is rising in the UK at such a rate that it has now entered the top 10 most occurring cancers, that's even ahead of cervical cancer! So we might ask ourselves why don't we know about it? Well, the truth is, we have taken our eye off the ball and it has crept up on us. That is not the worst of it... our dentists are missing it through lack of training on what to look for. We need to raise awareness of this type of cancer as early diagnosis is the only way to save lives. Mouth Cancer
