CityLets York have organised a fundraising event on 9th July having been inspired by the amazing work Vicky Cornwell has done to raise money for Martin House Children's Hospice since she lost her 3 day old baby daughter, Matilda, in February this year.
We would like to support Martin House continue to support other families who have the misfortune of going through such a life-changing and tragic experience. As Vicky herself says, 'we don't know how we would have done it without them'.
Our fundraising day will involve a French themed 'tarts and titbits' lunch and then 20 employees and their friends/families will take on a 20 mile bike ride up York's old railway cycle track starting at 6pm.
If you can spare some small change to support this cause, every penny will be gratefully received. Martin House really offer an amazing quality of care and it is through the donations of generous people like you that they will be able to continue to do so.
