Raj's team of Cookie Monsters will be running across Reading in onesies raising money for diabetes research on 1st May 2016. The event will offer two routes, a 10km run and a 5km walk, each route will bypass the university campus, town centre and finish at The Island Bar, Caversham (one of Rajs favourite spots to sit out and relax on a summer evening) where after event food and beverages will be supplied.
The event looks to invite family, friends and mutual friends of Raj to take part in the event and celebrate his passion for running, whilst raising money for a charity close to his heart, diabetes research.
Raj sadly passed away suddenly last year, aged just 24. Raj was inspiration to all those around him and continues to inspire us to push further in our daily lives. This event shows that and looks to bring those lives touched by Raj together in tribute to a great son, brother, friend and colleague.
