From 1-5 June 2016, a group of us from the Denbigh Harriers Running Club ran, walked and crawled some or all of the 176 miles of the Offa’s Dyke trail in aid of the British Red Cross.
Our run went from Chepstow in South Wales to Prestatyn in North Wales and involved 28,000ft of ascent - almost as much as Mount Everest.
Including offline donations, the Denbigh Harriers' Offa's Dyke Run has raised around £10,000 for the British Red Cross. Our aim was to raise enough money to buy eight new defibrillators and not, only have we managed to do that, but there is enough left over to buy an additional defibrillator to be used for training. Thanks again to all of you that supported us.
