Four members of the EPSCO team are set for an adventure packed May bank holiday as they have signed up for Maggie’s Monster Bike and Hike 2013.
Craig Lesslie, Scott Hatten, Fraser Inglis and Brendan Cairns have registered for the 72 mile dual biking and hiking challenge to raise money for the outstanding Maggie’s Centre charity.
Maggie’s flagship fundraising event, Monster Bike and Hike, is the ultimate fundraising experience, with participants cycling 31 miles and then choosing to hike 9 miles, 23 miles or 41 miles all the way to Inverness – the EPSCO team are aiming to complete the full 72 mile ‘Gold’ challenge in around 16 hours.
The event takes place on the bank holiday weekend of Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th May and takes in some of Scotland’s most awe inspiring scenery, starting under the shadow of Ben Nevis in Fort William. Participants then head out along the Caledonian Canal and the Great Glen Way taking in views of Loch Ness en route to Inverness.
The four intrepid colleagues are aiming to raise over £1,500 for Maggie’s Centres, so any contributions are very welcome.
