GO BEYOND SPORT UK: Promoting sport's positive role in British communities
Following the destruction and anti-social behaviour that spread through London and the UK, Beyond Sport - the global organisation based in London that supports those that use sport to trigger positive social change in their communities - is calling on its global network to rally around UK sports programmes that tackle the very issues that recently spilled onto the country’s streets.
These projects are proof on the ground that sport has the power to reach kids and young adults - to educate them and provide them with positive life-skills, and opportunities.
Chosen as standout projects through the Beyond Sport Awards, the Go Beyond Sport UK campaign is highlighting the following projects:
