Forged on the rugged Cornish Coast we are Hammer Harriers. A group of hardy trail runners seeking out extreme challenges.
Our latest team challenge is Ultra Trail South West - dubbed the World's toughest coastal foot race. 100 miles point to point around some of the most rugged and exposed coast that mainland Britain has to offer.
We are taking part in the Golden Hammer challenge. One goal: bear our hammer the 100 miles from Porthleven to Watergate Bay. We will each take our turn to carry our hammer through varied terrain from craggy outcrops to tree drenched river valleys; desolate golden sandy beaches to the hustle and bustle of Newquay on a Saturday night! Our journey begins at 7pm on Friday 22nd June and will continue through the night our goal to reach the finish by 7pm the following evening.
We will not stop until the Hammer Harriers have bought our hammer home!
We believe this challenge is extreme and we want to raise as much money as we can to some very worthwhile causes.
