King for a week

Be a KING this Xmas and wear your paper cracker crown for a whole week to raise money for terminally ill children...www.KingforaWeek.co.uk
Description
It all started when a small group of immature Welsh men had a ridiculous bet to see who could keep their paper Xmas cracker hat (or crown) on for the longest. There were a few small rules:

1. The crown had to be put on immediately after pulling their cracker during their Xmas dinner.
2. The crown could only be removed for sleeping and washing.
3. The crown could also be repaired if required.

The winner of our bet managed a whole week. It wasn't easy for him, but it was worth it for the pride.

We wondered - Could this silly bet be used for more than just boyish bragging rights? After much brainstorming, King for a Week was born.

WE NEED YOU

Once your legs have recovered from that charity hike or that marathon you ran in the summer... and your Movember moustache has washed down the sink... it's easy to think you have done enough this year to save the world. Well you haven't alright....
Only joking, but seriously, there isn't a better time than Xmas to make a real difference to somebody's life and we couldn't have found a more fun way to do it.

There are literally thousands of wonderful children this Xmas that won't be having anywhere near as much fun as we all did when we were young because they, by no fault of their own, have been struck by a terminal illness.

THE RULES

- All prospective 'Kings' in the lands that pull crackers at Xmas (almost all of the Commonwealth countries) will collect sponsorships throughout November and December from their friends & families.
- On December 25th, during their Xmas meal, the Kings will pull their crackers and proudly adorn their paper crowns.
- They will leave their crowns on, adhering to the rules above, until 12:00am on New Years Eve. At which point they can tear them off and welcome in the New Year with an even greater sense of jubilation than normal.
- They will be a King. For a whole Week. And they will be treated so by everyone they meet. For all of the money they raise for carrying out this royally ridiculous task will be used to give a child a better Xmas than they ever thought possible.

We would be honored if you would join us this year.
