I'm raising money for ronald mcdonald house and birmngham chidrens hospital in memory of my late niece.
Lolly was first diagnosed with ipex syndrome (a condition the attacks the immune system and then internal organs) at birmingham childrens hospital.
unfortunatley with it being such a rare conditon (especially in little girls) lolly had to be traansfered to a specialist in newcastle.
whilst she was in newcastle Ronald McDonald House gave my sister and her partner somewhere to sleep.
they provide accomodation for people with very poorly children away from home allowing the parents to be on site 24/7.
unfortunatley lolly sadly passed away aged just 13 months. and I have been thinking of ways to raise money for these two wonderful causes since.
its my job as an uncle to be daft, crazy and fun and therefore I've decided to spend the entire year n fancy dress..
This idea came about after i saw a page (www.facebook.com/myfancy year) where the lovely eve has spent a year in fancy dress raising money for coppa feel a breast cancer charity.
eve has inspired me to set up my own page ( www.facebook.com/mycrazyyear ) and see if i cant help raise awareness for lollys condition and some money for the fantastic people who helped my niece when she most needed it.
