Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. This year Team Spark #13 is running the Leicester Half Marathon - that's 13 miles to celebrate 13 years of the Spark Festival.
Since the Spark Festival started back in 2003, the charity has worked with more than 150,000 children and young people, giving youngsters the opportunity to access the arts in different ways and, for many children, offering them their first taste of the theatre and arts.
Money raised will go towards FREE events such as The Play-ground (which last year welcomed over 3000 people), and keeping the festival's 'On Your Doorstep' programme alive and accessible to all young people in the city.
The Spark Festival is the biggest children's arts festival in the UK. In 2014, 24,480 children & their families attended 190 events across Leicestershire in schools, theatres, libraries, parks & community venues.
