Varsity March 2017 (24-25 June)

Team photo

The annual Varsity March is a mammoth walk between Oxford and Cambridge (129 km / 80 miles) or between Oxford and Aylesbury (33 km / 23 miles) completed in under 48 hours without sleep by Cambridge University Rambling Club and Oxford University Walking Club.

This year the full distance was completed by Stephanie Smith and club mascot Dylan the Sheep, while Chia Jeng Yang did Oxford to Ivinghoe (51 km / 32 miles), Jonathan Edge, Matthew Ford and Christopher Thomas did Oxford to Aylesbury and Alan Iwi did Waterstock to Aylesbury.

It's not too late to sponsor us!  This year we are again raising money for the Gatehouse charity in Oxford and for Jimmy’s Cambridge. These charities carry out vital work among the homeless and poorly housed of Oxford and Cambridge. To make a donation click on the Donate buttons below or visit www.justgiving.com/varsitymarch2017-gatehouse and www.justgiving.com/varsitymarch2017-jimmys.  We encourage you to split your donation as equally as possible between our two charities. Thank you very much for sponsoring us!
