In October 2017 John White, Charlie Harris, Piers Lawson and Yam Rana spent 3 days together in and above the Buri Gandaki river valley as part of an introductory visit to Nepal for Charlie, a generous supporter of the Trust. We were there to visit Shree Bhawani Higher Secondary School in Manbu and upon our return to the Green Valley Hotel in Soti and over a thirst-quenching beer someone had the bright idea that we should participate in Trailwalker 2018. So here we are, staring reality in the face, and as someone has rudely suggested, 'attempting' to complete Traliwalker 2018. Let there be no doubt, this is not an 'attempt'.
