My name is Martin and I am one of three riders cycling from Leicester to Paris, to raise money for  Diabetes UK and Cancer Research UK (on a separate Just Giving page).  We have no support van, so we are carrying all our kit with us in heavy rucksacks, which will add to the challenge! We aim to reach the edge of Paris after four days, and then do the obligatory photo shoot on day five.

The 300 mile journey will take us from Leicester to Oxford, to Portsmouth, to Caen and across Pegasus Bridge (a key D-Day objective), across Normandy to Paris :)
