Sound Seekers is, a very small and unique charity based in London, dedicated to helping people with hearing loss in some of the poorest communities in Africa. They partner with major hospitals, health service providers and schools to establish audiology and education services for children and adults with hearing loss. They help people overcome the effects of deafness by building long-term capacity in Africa, providing skills so that medical staff can identify and
treat deaf people, as well as resources and training for teachers so that children with hearing loss can access education. A basic right that is sadly too often overlooked in Africa once a child has hearing loss.
