We pioneer life-saving cancer research to help us beat cancer

Story

The Team from the Highgrove Clinic is in training to run Carlisle's Race for Life on 13th July

So hats off to the reception staff, nurses and consultants wives who have signed up to run the 5K race in Carlisle's Sheepmount Stadium.

And a special mention to Marie-Therese Dawson, the mother of one of the consultants at the Highgrove, who at 85, may well be the oldest participant in this year's race. In spite of limited mobility, she has promised to cover the first hundred yards of the race with the aid of her walking stick, to get us off to a great start!

We have teamed up with Carlisle's favourite Radio station, CFM to sponsor this year's event - whether you are running or supporting a runner, join the fun on Sunday 13th July

The Highgrove team so far also boasts:

Joanna Dawson, Kate Dawson, Lucy Dawson, Jools Harrison, Rebecca Keelor, Jennifer Niven, Amy Moore, Amy Vose, Heather Copeland, Deborah Wigham, Suzanne Ainsworth.

You can join the Highgrove Team! Simply Google Carlisle Race for Life, choose the 5K event and enter our Group ID HM8732 into your form!
