It started as an idea to simply give back during a time of year when things seem very materialistic.  We see adverts for the latest and greatest gift ideas 24/7 but don't spare a thought for those who would just love a hot dinner and bed for the night for Christmas. 

If we could just do something to help feed a small number of homeless people it would hopefully bring a smile to the face of a few.  We know we can't change the world but to start closer to home and support the great work Jimmy's of Cambridge does seems a better place than any.

So to that end on 16th December we are putting on a free 24 hour workout day at The Unit Fitness in Godmanchester (Unit 23 Roman Way Small Business Park, PE29 2LN).

There will be a session on every hour for 24 hours and we are encouraging members, friends and family to attend as many as they are capable of during this time.  For each hour attended we would love a small donation to this page. 

By just giving up a few hours of comfort, warmth and energy we can help make those less fortunate than us a little more comfortable this Christmas.
