Story
At the beginning of 2015 I made myself a promise to exercise three times a week for a year. So far, I've kept to it. In January/February, my motivation was to be fit enough to survive chucking myself (snowboarding) down a mountain at high speed. In March, April and May, my motivation is my brother's wedding (photos). So for June and July, I thought I'd step it up with a fitness challenge to run 10K.
Why 10K? Because I want to do something that will take me far out of my comfort zone. Because I will need to work at in the long term and persevere to achieve. And hopefully, because you'll donate generously to Cancer Research for the privilege of seeing me shed blood, sweat and tears in the process of achieving!
Events like this are vital in funding Cancer Research UK's life-saving work into preventing, diagnosing and treating cancer. By sponsoring me, we can unite and create an army that cancer can't ignore. By sponsoring me, we will beat cancer sooner.
