We provide intensive physiotherapy to help to disabled children reach their potential

Story

I have the most beautiful niece, Izabelle Grace Larden Hinde who will turn four on the 10th July.  Judge for yourself, her picture is attached.

Izabelle is a very happy soul but has undiagnosed mobility and developmental issues which require a lot of support.

The support Izzy and mom (Jenny) and dad (Pete) have had from Footsteps Foundation has been amazing.  Footsteps support children with neuromotor diseases providing an incredible level of care and support for the kids as well as the families.  They have helped Izzy develop skills at her weekly sessions.

The British 10k is days after Izzys birthday and I have resolved to run it in her name and raise anything north of £400 for Footsteps.  You might wonder why the target is set at just £200 then?  Well, the good news is that Zurich Community Trust, the charitable arm of my company will match any monies I raise with a 50% boost - Bravo!  Every pound you give = £1.50 goes to Footsteps, more if you are able to Gift Aid.

For those that know I have run marathons before for Whizz Kidz and for Meningitis Trust, a mere 10k might seem a trivial trial.  However, since Paris 2013, I have gained 15kg in weight and have left my training to be very last minute so the pressure of expectation is required!

If you can support in even a small way, I would be extremely grateful as the cause is sensationally good - Let's help support Footsteps who are diong wonderful things for my niece and many other kids.
