Blake: I used to be a runner and I am trying to get back into it and I thought this would be a great opportunity to keep fit and help others. I think running helps me relax and distract myself from others and I hope to become a better person than I was.

Tim: The YMCA has a rich history of sport and so when Blake said that he would be up for running the Great West Run for the YMCA, it gave me the nudge I needed. I can see that Blake has a real gift in running and so it will be a privilege to support him in training and then try and keep up with him in the race! To get fit and raise some funds for YMCA Exeter in the process is also a real incentive- the YMCA is  a great place to work and I'm really glad to be part of its mission here in Exeter. Any support will be most appreciated.
