We provide vital treatment, care & support to cancer patients and families in Wales

Story

Tir-y-berth Primary School wants to make a difference by supporting Velindre Cancer Care. As part of a group of SE Wales schools we are joining the 'You Can Make a Difference Campaign' and aim to complete the 3 Peaks Challenge and raise a minimum of £2000.

Many of us in the school community have been affected by cancer, either directly or through family and friends. We want to show our support for those suffering with cancer by raising this money to go towards Velindre Cancer Care.

There are 4 members of the school community taking part in the 3 Peaks Challenge, walking up Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon, the 3 highest mountains in the UK in 3 days. We are hoping that you will help us to raise £2000 by donating on this site.

The children in school will be actively involved in helping us to raise the funds in a range of activities in school organised by the School Council eg. designing T shirts and a sponsored event.
