Weather permitting, we hope to run a Dawn 'til Dusk Flying Challenge at the Tyldesley Model Flying Club field on Sunday 7th September in the name of Colin Nolan who is enduring a particularly rough time with his ongoing cancer treatment.

The Dawn 'til Dusk Challenge is a fundraiser with proceeds to Cancer Research UK in which every one of Colin's friends and friends of TFMC with a flyable model aircraft can participate and contribute.  The idea is that we keep at least one model in the air at all times between 9am and 7pm.

It sounds easy but it wont be, and it is heavily reliant on keen participants playing their part and keeping flying, time and time again rather than taking time out to sit and chat, drink brews or otherwise waste the day away.  The effort required and the commitment needed of course pales into comparison with the issues our friend Colin is suffering at this time.

Please give generously to this very worthy cause, and everyone is welcome (pilots and non pilots) to join us at our field to show your support.
