Eating disorders are stereotypically seen as something only affecting young girls, not grown men in their 20s. However, I suffered from bulimia for 2 years, from January 2013 up until December 2014.

Eating disorders claim more lives than any other mental illness – one in five of the most seriously affected will die prematurely from the physical consequences or suicide.

Hopefully this may inspire someone who is struggling and thinks there is no way out to get help and speak to someone, as scary as that may seem.
