We are both keen on taking on new challenges and like to participate in events. Personally for us running the London Marathon is on our bucket list. It is going to be one of if not The BIGGEST physical and mental challenge we could do. With that in mind we didn’t want to do it just for us we wanted to be able to run for a charity that we believe in.

Both of us have witnessed peers who have come from disadvantaged backgrounds leave school early with no education/qualifications and still remain out of employment. This should not be the case, we believe all young people should have the potential to thrive in school and succeed in life. Therefore we are asking for your support to help us raise as much money for Teens and Toddlers.

We first heard of Teens and Toddlers at work through colleagues who had done work with the charity. Teens and Toddlers can demonstrate with real evidence the difference their programmes makes to disadvantaged teenagers. Teens and Toddlers programmes are targeted to reach young people at a crucial stage of their lives. The charity intervenes early to help those who have often abandoned hope of achieving in school. Through their flagship programme they offer work experience, a national qualification and the opportunity to mentor children in nurseries. Teens and Toddlers help young people build the self-belief and vital skills they need to succeed.

For every £100 we raise will cover the cost of registration, portfolio marking and certification for one young person to achieve a National Award in Interpersonal Skills, encouraging them to fulfil their potential and go on to further education.
