Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. All money donated through our JustGiving page will support Team Verrico, a Cancer charity who do amazing work with those affected by this awful disease.

Have you heard the legend of the Ugly Yellow Handbag? I heard the story on BBC Radio 4 while driving home from work and was so touched by the story I decided that we had to do something to raise money for Natalie Hunter, Team Verrico and other cancer patients.

Natalie Hunter is an inspiring mum of 4 young children. Very sadly Natalie was diagnosed with advanced bladder cancer that has now spread into her bones. The Ugly Yellow Handbag was given to Natalie so that she could raise money for Team Verrico. Team Verrico is the Cancer charity supporting her and helping her get access to treatment that will hopefully prolong her life to build lots of happy memories with her children, as well as working with lots of other cancer patients like Natalie.

On Tuesday July 14th I 'won' the Ugly Yellow Handbag for £1,090. All of this money will be donated to Team Verrico.

Many of the team at The Cake Decorating Company have been affected by Cancer and seen the devastation it causes. We want to help this hideous yellow bag achieve more and raise even more money for Team Verrico.

Please donate as much as you can afford.
