Fundraising for Jessica's Trust
Story
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
After the birth of my little boy I unfortunately developed puerperal sepsis which is a serious form of septicaemia contracted by a woman during or shortly after childbirth, miscarriage or abortion.
Thankfully me and my partner Steven realised there was something seriously wrong and I went straight to A&E where I was admitted and treated as a matter of urgency.
Unfortunately puerperal sepsis is not a disease of the past and it is vitally important that everyone is made aware of the symptoms and the need for immediate treatment to avoid serious threat to a mother's life.
I feel extremely lucky to have survived this and I am thankful for every day I have with my little boy, Steven and my family and friends!
Over the next 18 months we aim to take part in various fundraising events in order to raise money for a charity that is very close to our hearts.

Our first fundraising event involves my partner Steven getting his legs waxed! Trust me, his legs are extremely hairy and this is going to hurt!
If we can raise £200 or more by the 5th July, Steven has agreed to go ahead so please please donate!
UPDATE - Steven was waxed today and went through a great deal of pain!! It was for a great cause and we are very close to reaching £200 for the event. We will continue to carry out various fundraisers over the coming months and any ideas would be greatly received. Check out the video's of Steven's leg wax on
