Story
We will be walking into the light on 24th July. The 10 mile walk around low and high force will begin in the dark, at midnight, and will finish as the sun rises. The walk conveys such an important message that when the road ahead is dark, brighter days will follow. The Headlight Project is helping so many who have experienced trauma move out of the darkness and into the light. Any donations would be gratefully received and will help the charity to continue its amazing work.
The Russ Devereux Headlight Project was founded in memory of Russell Devereux by his wife Catherine. Russ tragically died by suicide on 6 May 2018 age 41 leaving behind three young children. The aim of the project is to work with children, delivering emotional resilience programmes in schools. The Project also offers play therapy for children and one to one counselling for both children and adults and has a particular focus on helping families bereaved by suicide.
