Help UK-Med respond when epidemics, conflict and natural disasters hit.

Story

It takes a really worthwhile charity to get 3 novice cyclists onto their bikes and UK Med is just such a cause.

In a rash moment Hannah agreed with S-J that she would give the London to Brighton ride a  whirl and then somehow Lucy managed to  promote herself from supporter to fellow cyclist!

We have started to increase our saddle time gradually (vitally important for certain areas of the physique)! and hope that when we get together on 14th September we can do ourselves and UK Med proud.

Please read the article below about this amazing group of people; we hope this will inspire you to support us.

Thank you

Lucy, Hannah and S-J

The world is experiencing an unprecedented level of humanitarian need. Conflict and protracted crisis, displacement, increasingly severe natural disasters, climate change and economic instability affect some of the most vulnerable populations. UK-Med trains and deploys medical teams and specialists to save lives when epidemics, conflict and natural disasters hit. As disasters grow more frequent, severe and complex there has never been a greater need to respond quickly and effectivelyboth to save lives and aid recovery. We believe in a world prepared to help. All funds raised will help us respond when epidemics, conflict and natural disasters hit. Thank you.
