With the guidance of Ben Tweedie (Bike It Ben) children from Years 5 and 6, along with their parents are planning to complete the Coast to Castles bike ride. They will make the 152 mile journey from Edinburgh to Tynemouth between 10th - 14th July 2018.

All involved have been training extremely hard for the past few months developing the strength and stamina required to complete the challenge. There has been plenty of blood, sweat and tears to get to this point (and that’s just the parents!).

The decision to raise money for FACT was a very simple one, especially with its close connections to the school. Many families are unfortunately touched by the devastating effects of Cancer including some of those doing the ride. Doing the ride for FACT will help encourage the riders when times get tough. 

We hope you can help us achieve our goal of at least £2000 and give those taking part a strong and positive reason to keep going.
