Story

Firstly, thank you for visiting my page!

Secondly, if you have made it to here, I am assuming you know me and therefore will know what a challenge it will be for me to be completely sober until January Second, especially considering that I  work in the Wheatsheaf. I will be donating somewhere between £20 and £30 per month myself to cover what I expect I would spend on alcohol per month.

I have decided to stop drinking as I recently ended up in A&E with, what was initially thought to be Pancreatitis. Thankfully, this was not the case and therefore the cause can only be put down to the excessive amount I drank over the weekend previous.

This experience really scared me and was the wake up call I needed to realise that I was drinking to excess too often, this is why I have decided to stay completely sober until January.

P.S. According to family members, my new name is Des, short for Designated Driver!
