Welcome to the High Hunsley Circuit, a charity challenge in aid of Action Duchenne. This event follows on from our previously successful Wolds Way Dash several years ago.

About the charity - Duchenne is a devastating muscle wasting illness that currently has no cure. We want to change that. 

Medical advances are proving that with the more research funding, it will be possible to one day reverse the affects of this disease. Its a race against time and every penny really counts. 

This walk is in aid of a very special family whose son currently suffers with Muscular Dystrophy. Gary, Angie, Ellie and Jamie are truly an inspiring family who continue to show unbelievable strength, determination and resolve in doing everything they can to help raise awareness and funding for this crucial charity. It is a pleasure to help them with this walk and if you sign up you'll find it a pleasure to meet them.

About the Walk - The High Hunsley Circuit is a little known local walk that starts and finishes at Brantingham Church, East Yorkshire. It takes in some of the wonderful villages of the lower Wolds and covers a mixture of open farmland, deep valleys and woodland. Totaling 25 miles, the route can be tricky and we advise strong walking boots, a good supply of snacks and drinks along with a decent rain jacket! We have set a 10 hour time limit for the event to ensure plenty of time in the pub afterwards!

The Support - The walk will be led by an experienced team of walkers with volunteers along route with food and water stops (and blister care!). The route will be marked, but maps will be available with plenty of people around to ensure nobody gets lost!
