Everybody knows of someone that has or unfortunately knew of somebody that had a Brain tumour. 

Richard and Dave have decided to break a world record in order to raise awareness of Brain Tumour Research and vital money in order for research to continue so that more people can be treated effectively in the future.

Brain Tumour Research receives less than 1% of the national spend, yet 73% of brain tumour deaths occur in those under 75.

Recognising that most families have been affected by a brain tumour, the men are raising money so that hopefully in the future, more effective treatments are available to cure peoples nearest and dearest.

Richard and Dave's cricket club has been directly affected with 1st team player Wayne Chessum having been diagnosed and treated for two brain tumours. Luckily Wayne has recovered and is playing cricket again much to the delight of his family and friends. If more money is raised there will hopefully be more brain tumour stories with happy endings.

After announcing that lads were going to attempt the world record, Richard's Granddad has been diagnosed with a terminal brain tumour which has given the boys even more of a reason to break the world record and raise as much money as possible so please everybody dig deep and give as much money as you can so that more people can overcome this dreadful illness.

The challenge will take place at Northgate Sports Hall, Millfield Terrace, Sleaford, Lincolnshire on Thursday 30th January 2014 @ 12noon. The current record is 26hrs, we are aiming for a full on 48hrs. The challenge will hopefully be achieved Saturday 1st February 12noon

ANYONE, ANY AGE, ANY ABILITY can attend, have a bowl at us and generally keep our motivation going.
