Why your donation matters

A year on from the floods of 2010, there is severe flooding in many areas of urban and rural Sindh, displacing an approximate 8.9 million people and damaging or destroying over 1 million homes in the effected areas.
Stories of lost lives, destroyed belongings and livelihoods are coming in from the effected areas, where people have even had to sell whatever possessions they could salvage from the floods to feed themselves and their families.
With your help Al-Khair Foundation is providing food, purified water, medical supplies and shelter, including a bricked shelter in Hyderabad with a capacity of 15000. A Tent Village in Tando Bago set up and further villages to set up in Badin, Haji Dingdhan Polghari etc.
