Raising more than £1,000,000 for UNICEF since January 2010, through a combination of employee fundraising and corporate donations. Thank you to all our supporters who have contributed to our fundraising.
Visa Europe employees choose to raise funds for UNICEF because we know how fortunate we are. Our commitment reflects an understanding that we all have a duty to give something back to society. As an organisation and as individuals, we are proud to make a positive difference to vulnerable children all over the world, working with UNICEF to alleviate poverty and suffering, and change government policy. We know that every contribution we make can change lives for the better – for ever.
In 2011 Visa Europe reached a milestone: €500k raised for UNICEF by employee fundraising and corporate donations.
UNICEF believes that every child has the right to the best possible start in life, and that nurturing and caring for children are cornerstones of human progress. We share their belief that more needs to be done in order to overcome the obstacles that poverty, violence, disease, and discrimination can place in a child’s path. In our own small ways, each of us can help; our association with UNICEF links us to their belief that “we can, together, advance the cause of humanity.”
