Buckles Solicitors White Peak Trail Run in aid of Myotonic Dystrophy Support and Nottinghamshire Hospice - Sunday 12 May 2019. If you would kindly like to donate, please scroll to the bottom of the page where you can select which charity you would like to donate to - Myotonic Dystrophy Support or Nottinghamshire Hospice.
A team of runners from Buckles Solicitors will be taking part in the White Peak Trail Run on 12 May in memory of our colleague Luke Appleby who died last year. We are fundraising for Myotonic Dystrophy Support and Nottinghamshire Hospice, who both of whom supported Luke and his family throughout his illness.
Before his diagnosis of myotonic dystrophy, Luke was a very keen runner, and completed a half marathon in under 90 minutes. He relished the challenge and would have loved to compete in a marathon.
Some of us will be completing 6.5 mile route whilst others are taking on the 16 mile course, both of which will take us through a beautiful part of the country. For many of us trail running is very much out of our comfort zone and we hope we can rely on your support for two great causes and we hope to do Luke proud!
You'll see our team fundraising target on the right. Your donation can really help us smash this goal.
