Chatteris Educational Foundation Team

In August, Matt, Harriet, John, Tim and John arrived fresh out of university into the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong. Now all 5 of us are going to running a 24 hour relay!

All of the team are in Hong Kong working as English teachers for the Non Profit Organisation, Chatteris Educational Foundation.

The team all enjoy sport whether it is rugby, football, running hiking or even triathlons. So when they found out about a 24 hour race, around one of the most iconic places in Hong Kong, for a truely amazing cause, there was no other option but accept this physically and mentally demanding challenge.

The race is organised by 'Running to Stop the Traffik' (RTST) a youth led organisation, here in Hong Kong, they aim to help educate others about the modern day slavery and help extinguish this evil trade from the world. In the past RTST have donated to anti slavery charities all over asia, from India, Nepal  to Cambodia.

For this event RTST are working alongside 'The Mekong Club' who focus their energy on stopping sex slavery, slavery at sea and labour slavery. They work alonsgide businesses to rid the world of the slavery industry. The money raised for this event will go directly to 'The Mekong Club'

So, on 6th - 7th December around The Peak in Hong Kong, the 5  team members will be running a relay style race for 24 hours. To compete hwoever we must raise the target you see on the right, atleast HK$12,000. This is where all of you come in. We would greatly appreciate any donation that you would feel comfortable in giving. At the end of the day every little helps.

As a team we believe that this is truely worthy cause, with approximately 21 million, children, women and men working within the slavery industry today, this is one global issue that needs our support. If we act now then the change can begin today. For a better future tomorrow.

By donating to one of the runners below we can help smash our total and start make a difference to peoples lives.

Thank you for your kindness and generosity.

Matt, Harriet, John, Tim and Eden
