Let's Get It Started - Freezin for a Reason Begins!

What is it?: It's a fundraising event sponsored by the Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving team, co sponsored with PAC-Physical Activity Club. St. Bonaventure is an official Special Olympics College Club. Polar Spray is a fundraiser where participants will be sprayed with the fire hose from Allegheny Volunteer Fire Company!

When: Friday, September 27nd

Registration: 4:00pm

Polar Spray: 5:30pm

Where: Outdoor basketball courts between The Sandra A. and William L. Richter Center and the Reilly Center

All participants must raise $5 but the more money you raise, the more prizes you get! Raise $25 and you will receive an official Special Olympics or Polar Spray t-shirt! Raise $125 and receive THIS year's Polar Plunge hoodie! (Please note, hoodies will be sent out after the Polar Plunge on Saturday, December 3rd). All are welcome to participate! Grab your friends, teachers, parents and siblings as we kick off Family Weekend by raising money for a great cause!

Don't let the fun stop there. Join us for our 18th annual Buffalo Polar Plunge on Saturday, December 6th at Woodlawn Beach State Park. We will be giving a lucky college student a $1,000 scholarship. To register to plunge, register at www.PolarPlungeNY.org/Buffalo.
