Over 20 years ago I first took part in the Swimathon challenge and still haven't lost the buzz of taking part (and of setting myself silly challenges) to the point that this will be my third year of being an Ambassador to a wonderful event that is now very close to my heart.

This year I will, once again, be attempting to complete the 30.9km and the Triple 5km challenges during April and May 2023. That equates to 45.9km, or 1.836 lengths of a standard 25m swimming pool. Piece of cake right....?

This year I will (mostly) be swimming at Watford Woodside Leisure Centre, Watford Central Leisure Centre, the London Aquatics Pool (to channel my inner Michael Phelps), Westminster Lodge Leisure Centre and Hemel Hempstead Leisure Centre.

Once again the challenge is teaming up with three wonderful charities - Cancer Research UK, Marie Curie and the Swimathon Foundation. Fabulous charities that will appreciate any and every penny people can share.
