So after running the virtual London marathon last year (for fun? I think....)  I am going to get my chance to run the actual London Marathon this year!!!  

COVID-19 has hit everyone quite hard financially and has impacted peoples mental health.... and I know asking for money is difficult at the best of times let alone the toughest, but we need to raise money more than ever for charities as they have also been hit hard due to the pandemic.

I have also ran the Peterborough marathon this year already- and hit a new PB of 4:08 so I have high hopes of getting closer to 4hours in London!

So please give a couple of pounds if you can to really help Coppafeel! And support the incredible work they are doing.

Hi everyone!, 

i am very excited to say i am running the LONDON MARATHON 2020!!

it has been a life long ambition of mine and i have waited a mere 13 years to try and get in it!

i am raising money for Coppafeel! Who are the
first breast cancer charity in the UK to solely create awareness amongst young people, with the aim of instilling the knowledge and tools they need to get to know their bodies. Although their main focus is on breast cancer education, they also instigated the #RETHINKCANCER Campaign, to ensure everyone is taught about all cancers and how to lead healthy lives from a young age.

I will be running in memory of Sue Jones- who passed away in November 2016 after being diagnosed with secondary breast cancer 5 years previously...... Unfortunately we have all experienced cancer  whether it is personally, through friends, family or loved ones. 

As this life sucking disease comes in all shapes and sizes, i will also be running with Sues Husband Kevin in mind. Who also sadly passed away in December 2018 after an extremely short battle with pancreatic cancer.

Please help me reach my target and raise every penny possible for this amazing charity.

I suppose i best start running!!
