A bit about me...
Affectionately known as Al by friends and family, Albert T. Hulitt is a man of many hats, all worn in service to others. A former Boys & Girls Club member and proud father of a current Club member, Al has spent his entire adult life committed to uplifting his community across Northwest Indiana.
From serving as a dedicated officer with the Hammond Police Department to advocating for education through Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Al’s passion for community development is unwavering. But his service doesn’t stop there. Through his family-run Hulitt Homestead, Al cultivates fresh, organic produce and generously donates it to the South Haven Boys & Girls Club. For the past two growing seasons, Al’s contributions have helped inspire healthier food choices among youth—at absolutely no cost to members, staff, or their families.
Now, Al is taking on the 2025 Clubhouse Heroes Challenge—and he needs your support. Whether it's a small donation or a larger gesture, every act of kindness helps fuel his mission. Join Al in showing that no act of service goes unseen.
As a Clubhouse Hero during the 2025 Clubhouse Hero Challenge from May 25 to June 8, I am competing against other local leaders to see who can raise the most funds to support bright futures for our region’s youth. If I win, I will deliver on a special promise for the kids at one local Club. Your contribution gives our region’s children the tools to become the superheroes of their own stories.
Charities pay a small fee for our service. Learn more about fees
