A bit about me...
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider, and I’ve been working as a psychotherapist in private practice since 2009. I primarily work with adults and families, helping them navigate life’s challenges and rediscover their strengths. Before entering private practice, I was a palliative care social worker at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago—an experience that shaped my deep belief in the power of empathy, presence, and resilience. As both a clinician and a parent of two neurospicy kids (and someone with ADHD myself), I bring not only professional expertise but real-life understanding to my work. I believe that no matter our past or self-perception, we all have the power to adjust our mindset and actions.
Outside of the therapy room, I love sharing what I’ve learned as a speaker at conferences and team-building events, and I even bring that energy to my son’s 13U baseball team through regular confidence and communication exercises. Whether I’m guiding someone through personal healing or working with families to build stronger connections, my mission is always the same: to help people reconnect with their strengths, believe in their potential, and move forward with intention.
As a Clubhouse Hero during the 2025 Clubhouse Hero Challenge from May 25 to June 8, I am competing against other local leaders to see who can raise the most funds to support bright futures for our region’s youth. If I win, I will deliver on a special promise for the kids at one local Club. Your contribution gives our region’s children the tools to become the superheroes of their own stories.
