Drop Zone isn’t just an event—it’s the ultimate high-stakes mission! It’s about stepping up, standing out, and helping build a world where everyone belongs—where inclusion isn’t just an idea, it's reality.

Story

When you support The Drop Zone, you are helping make life-changing experiences possible at Camp Tidnish!

Camp Tidnish is more than a summer camp. It’s a place where individuals with disabilities can try new things, build confidence, and experience independence in a fully inclusive and supportive environment. For many campers, it’s the one place where they are encouraged to be themselves, make lasting friendships, and discover what they can do!

Providing these experiences takes significant resources—trained staff, accessible facilities, adaptive equipment, and ongoing support for campers and their families. That’s where Drop Zone comes in. Every dollar raised helps ensure Camp Tidnish remains accessible and affordable for the families who rely on it.

I'm a Leo and the second born child so as a rule, I've always been a bit of a... Handful lol. For example... I started climbing the stairs at about 6 months old and as a toddler, I am sure that I gave my mother more than a few grey hairs when I would take myself for a walk to visit the puppy that lived across the street, a few houses away. Hey, let's see you resist a cute little puppy!

However, when I was two, almost three years old, I single handedly turned my little family's entire world upside down when I took a seemingly innocent tumble that would inevitably leave me a quadriplegic for life.

I started going to Camp Tidnish when I was six years old, and I continued going every Summer, for almost ten years! My goal here, is to help others have the same opportunities and experiences that were given to me when I was a child.

Side Note: This year, The Drop Zone falls on my birthday! I can't think of a better way to celebrate! ;p
